RORY X PEACH (Puppies born 3/23/2025 6 females, 5 males - all reserved)

We are super excited for this repeat breeding with “Peach” at Black Ridge Goldens in Utah. Peach was bred to Rory a year earlier and feedback are that the puppies are doing very well - so a repeat breeding is planned.

Peach is extremely eager to please and is lightning fast. Like Rory, she has a drive to retrieve that is hard to beat, very athletic, and seems to always be carrying something in her mouth. She can turn off her high drive and is gentle around the kids and family. Peach weighs 54lbs.

Rory x Reason (Breeding confirmed Puppies due end of April - all reserved)

Reason is a dark golden female averaging 58-60lbs. She is very eager to work with her handler when in the field. She is trained in multiple lines of work, including tracking, scent work, and obedience. In the field, she is very confident and shows great marking abilities. She is not afraid to get into the heavy cover. She is very determined and responsive in all her training. She is a natural in the water, with clean entries. Reason is easy to work with during training and live with in the home. She has a beautiful natural off-switch. As a service dog and demo dog, she is very attentive to her handler, yet she is social with people and other animals when she is not working. We are currently training toward obtaining a couple of titles in 2025 as we plan to go for our NACSW Odor Recognition Test and her AKC Junior Hunter.

Rory x Memphis (Puppies born 3/22/2025 5 females, 6 males - all reserved)

Memphis Belle displays the perfect mix of independence and loyalty. A natural at flushing and retrieving upland birds and strong in water, she thrives in diverse hunting scenarios with remarkable adaptability, whether alongside multiple hunters or dogs. Despite her robust and determined demeanor in the field, she exudes playful demeanor at home and around others, earning admiration for her striking red coat, well-built physique, and, most notably, her gentle nature. Memphis is 64lbs and like Rory dark in color. Memphis has a medium motor, not super fast but will go all day afield - paired with Rory, these should be perfect gentleman’s gun dogs with some of the offspring having a bigger motor.

rory x Peanut (breeding PLANNED MAY 2025)

Peanut is a stunning medium dark golden, athletic build, 65 lbs and stands 24 inches. She shines as a hunting companion, has a calm steady demeanor and sharp marking skills. She earned her Started (SHR) and Seasoned (HR) hunting titles with ease being amateur trained and handled for both. She also has her Rally Novice and Advanced titles. We expect this pairing with Rory to build on the natural excellence afield and tractability they both have. They should be the perfect companions for field and family.

Rory x Luna repeat breeding (summer/fall 2025)

Broken Sky Kennels out of Nebraska has been producing great field golden retrievers for years and I am excited that he is once again including Rory in his breedings. He saw something special in Rory when they hung out the summer of 2020 and quickly decided to breed with Leto in the fall of 2020 (see Leto below) and seeing how that first litter is doing, again in 2021. This breeding with Luna in late 2022 and again in 2023 is also a repeat breeding, which speaks to the quality of puppies and associated feedback from the first breeding. Expect puppies in this breeding to have a dark field coat, lots of desire, trainability and that patience in the blind when ducks are not flying. RORY X MAGGIE (Summer/Fall 2025 Tentative)

Due the winter breeding not taking we are trying again later this year at Maggie’s next heat cycle.

Maggie has a medium golden flat coat, the typical golden personality, and loves to work. In the field she is an excellent marker, very watery, and a hard charger. She has completed her AKC JH (junior hunter) title and her UKC HR (Hunting Retriever) title and the plans are for a SH (Senior Hunter) title in 2025. Maggie weighs 52 lbs and is very quick and responsive while working.

Pairing her with Rory will build on her speed and quickness, desire in the field and that tractability that is so strong with Rory.

Puppies will be both AKC and UKC registered.
